TEACHING WHOLENESS & RESILIENCY FROM AN INTERFAITH PERSPECTIVE

How do those who give and give, often putting others before themselves, sustain resiliency? Because you give care for others, you need compassionate self-care. Whether you are an activist, someone in the helping or healing professions, or simply a family caregiver, the Braxton Institute exists for you. Operating from a respectful multi-religious and inter-faith perspective, our mission is to empower individual health and wholeness for those who serve others--mind, body and spirit. We offer programs, workshops and retreats as well as small group spiritual direction and consulting services. We help you increase the stores of your well-being and bring increased sustainability, joy and health to your work, your family and your community.

Dr. Nigel Hatton

"Our shared work through the Braxton Institute celebrates the importance of human life as sacred. Some of the ways we do this work of recovery and sustainability are through narrative medicine, prayer, mindfulness meditation and spiritual life writing."
