Richael Faithful, Esq., (they/them) is a nationally known healer, facilitator, cultural worker, healing justice strategist, and lawyer. Although Faithful mainly supports organizers of color with other intersecting marginalized identities, they have engaged in anti-racism training for over a decade. Their anti-racism training focuses on ending white supremacy through lived practice and connecting our practices to ecologies. Their most notable work, Human Ecology of Racism, will resume in late September 2020. Faithful is also a founding member of the Braxton Institute.
Rev. Dr. Rebecca Parker is a founding member of the Braxton Institute, President Emerita Starr King School for the Ministry, counter-oppressive theologian and educator, and co-author of Saving Paradise: How Christianity Traded Love of This World for Crucifixion and Empire.
Rev. Joanne M. Braxton, Ph.D. is an ordained minister of the Southern Conference of the United Church of Christ, a graduate of the doctoral Program in American Studies at Yale University, a founding faculty member of the Africana Studies Program and Frances L. and Edwin L. Cummings Professor Emeritus at William & Mary, past director of the Middle Passage Project and the Narrative Medicine for Excellence Project at William & Mary, a member of the American Association of Medical Colleges Fundamental Role of the Arts and Humanities in Medical Education (FRAHME) Initiative, author of numerous books, articles, and essays, and President & CEO of The Braxton Institute for Sustainability, Resiliency and Joy.
